Nadi holds a federal permit as a back country guide . As an officer with Grand County Search And Rescue in Moab, he facilitates off-road driver training and vehicle maintenance for the department.
Being the top responder for 7 consecutive years, with over 650 rescues under his belt, Nadi has in depth knowledge and experience to safely navigate Moab's unforgiving back country.
His other credentials include Utah licensed Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Wilderness First Responder Instructor, Certified Technical Rope and Swift Water Rescue Technician/Boat Operator.
Your time in Moab is precious and to make the most of it, I’ll be happy to actively listen to your expectations, help plan your adventure into the back country and do my absolute best to safely get you there and back.
We can have a great day on easy routes, or take on more challenging trails requiring expert guiding skills.
If you have never operated a vehicle off road, I can properly get you started with basic driving techniques on terrain perfectly suited to your skill level. While honing your skills, you will also learn about the mechanical aspect of the vehicle.
I also provide hands-on off road vehicle recovery classes, using a wide variety of gear and scenarios. Most importantly I'll teach you how to remain safe on a scene of a recovery, even if you or your loved ones have no part in it.
Hiring a competent guide for your next adventure can potentially save you thousands of dollars in recovery fees, wasted vacation and possible medical expenses.
In off-roading things can go wrong. Anything from a flat tire to mechanical failures, getting stuck, or even a roll-over all of which are common on Moab trails. Should you need my services, I will do my best to get you out of your predicament as quickly and reasonably as possible.
NOTE: Off-road vehicle recovery is expensive and is rarely covered by insurance companies or AAA, and never by rental companies.
